Use Esgic-Plus as directed by your doctor. Check the label on the medicine for exact dosing instructions.

  • Esgic-Plus may be taken with or without food.

  • Esgic-Plus may cause drowsiness. Do not drive, operate machinery, or do anything else that could be dangerous until you know how you react to Esgic-Plus . • Avoid drinking alcohol or taking other medications that cause drowsiness (eg, sedatives, tranquilizers) while taking Esgic-Plus . Esgic-Plus will add to the effects of alcohol and other depressants. Ask your pharmacist if you have questions about which medicines are depressants.

  • Before you have any medical or dental treatments, emergency care, or surgery, tell the doctor or dentist that you are using Esgic-Plus .
  • Esgic-Plus may decrease the effectiveness of your birth control pill. To prevent pregnancy, be sure to use an additional form of birth control (eg, condoms) while using Esgic-Plus .

  • Use Esgic-Plus with caution in the ELDERLY because they may be more sensitive to its effects.
  • Use Esgic-Plus with extreme caution in CHILDREN. Safety and effectiveness have not been confirmed.
  • PREGNANCY and BREAST-FEEDING: If you become pregnant, discuss with your doctor the benefits and risks of using Esgic-Plus during pregnancy. Esgic-Plus is excreted in breast milk. Do not breast-feed while taking Esgic-Plus .

When used for long periods of time or at high doses, Esgic-Plus may not work as well and may require higher doses to obtain the same effect as when originally taken. This is known as TOLERANCE. Talk with your doctor if Esgic-Plus stops working well. Do not take more than prescribed.
